FaceTime Wins Financial-i Leaders in Innovation Award for Messaging Compliance
London, UK January 6th 2009 - FaceTime Communications announced today that it has won a prestigious
Financial-i Leaders in Innovation Award. Chosen from a short list by an advisory panel comprising of
analysts, consultants and market practitioners, FaceTime Communications received the Innovation Award
for Email and Instant Messaging Compliance
The Financial-i Leaders in Innovation Awards identifies those that have excelled in innovative business
solutions over the past twelve months, across wholesale transaction banking. Looking at a range of criteria
including the depth and breadth of functionality and how solutions help companies solve business issues.
"The financial industry is one of the heaviest regulated markets and we strive to ensure that our banking
customers can continue to use a multitude of communication tools from instant messaging to social networking
sites and webmail, without falling foul of compliance regulations," says Nick Sears, VP EMEA, FaceTime
Communications. "We're delighted to receive this award in recognition of the innovation we deliver that
allows organisations to use Web 2.0 and Unified communication tools securely."
Published 4 times a year and read by over 40,000 people, Financial-i provides in-depth analysis on the
business solutions and operational evolution of wholesale financial services, including how the financial
services industry is re-engineering its infrastructure to leverage new technologies.
"Post-crisis, now more than ever before, firms are looking for business solutions that provide a much
quicker return on investment and do what they actually say on the tin. In selecting winners in each
category we have tried to focus on those companies we and our advisory panel believe have that little
something extra that makes their solutions stand out from their competitors in terms of depth and breadth
of functionality, ease of implementation and support and solutions that are not looking for a problem
to solve but actually address real business needs." Anita Hawser, Managing Editor, Financial-i.
