Companies to Co-Market FaceTime's IMAuditor with Jabber XCP
DENVER, COLO. and FOSTER CITY, CALIF. - September 8, 2003 -- Jabber, Inc. and FaceTime Communications today announced they have entered into a joint marketing agreement that will give customers the option of adding FaceTime's
IMAuditor to Jabber, Inc.'s XCP (eXtensible Communications Platform).
Jabber, Inc. is the leading developer of open architecture for enterprise-and carrier-class presence-enabled communications, including instant messaging (IM), while FaceTime Communications is the premier provider of security, management and control solutions for instant messaging and other forms of real-time enterprise communications.
While both companies already provide NASD and SEC compliant solutions for logging and archiving of instant messages sent from within and to financial services organizations, the companies indicated that this agreement is a move to provide customers with increased flexibility in choosing an application and feature functionality set that meets their unique needs.
"Jabber's open and extensible architecture easily integrates with applications such as FaceTime's, adapting to our customers' business environments easily and quickly," said Rob Balgley, Jabber, Inc.'s president and CEO. "FaceTime's
IMAuditor adds to the feature set of Jabber's logging ability, providing customers with a familiar and secure user interface."
"Jabber and FaceTime already share a number of existing and prospective customers, many of whom have already integrated our products successfully," said Glen D. Vondrick, president and CEO of FaceTime Communications. "By co-marketing our solutions, we are simply responding to existing demand with an offering that has proven its reliability and regulatory compliance in the field."
