FaceTime Continues Sales Momentum Through Agreement With Jefferies & Company, Inc. to Use IMAuditor for Instant Message Auditing by Its World Wide Users

IMAuditor Fast Becoming a Standard for Unique Ability to Manage, Audit, and Control Multiple Instant Messaging Networks

FOSTER CITY, Calif., May 28, 2002 -- FaceTime Communications, the premier provider of network-independent instant messaging (IM) applications for business, today announced that Jefferies & Company, Inc., an institutional brokerage firm and investment bank, has chosen FaceTime's IMAuditor product to enable compliant, real-time communications for institutional traders. IMAuditor gives Jefferies the ability to leverage the power of America Online (AOL) and other public instant messaging networks such as Yahoo! and Microsoft, for time-sensitive business communications, while ensuring administrative controls are in place to comply with government regulations.

"The FaceTime solution is ideal for Jefferies because it provides us with global scalability for what eventually may be hundreds of IM users for all three networks in use by our traders," said Jim Nikolai, chief technology officer, Jefferies & Company, Inc. "It is vital that we plan for the future and partner with leaders who have a proven track record."

"Our solution is fast becoming the standard for auditing instant messaging use in the enterprise due to IMAuditor's proven ability to log and audit IM communication on any network, including AOL Instant Messenger, through our unique authorized partnership with AOL," said Glen D. Vondrick, FaceTime's President and CEO. "IMAuditor's enterprise scalability is important for companies like Jefferies which has hundreds of potential IM users who need to continue real-time communications via any instant messaging service to reach their constituents while the enterprise is able to manage, capture, store and supervise IM network communication."

FaceTime's unique technology advantage, IM expertise, and ability to provide customers with authorized application access and integration to any network, enables the company to deliver practical, value-add solutions on multiple IM network infrastructures for any business. FaceTime's IMAuditor provides IT professionals the confidence and information security controls to manage public IM networks in the enterprise. The FaceTime IMAuditor includes an easy installation and configuration process, no change in behavior for users of existing instant messaging clients and buddy lists, Web-based reports, and support for existing corporate proxy servers.
