FaceTime and IBM Team to Offer Integrated Instant Messaging Solution
FaceTime Integrates its Network-Independent
IMAuditor with Lotus Sametime to
Log, Audit and Control IM Communications
FOSTER CITY, Calif., April 15, 2002 -- FaceTime Communications, the premier
provider of network-independent instant messaging (IM) applications for
business, today announced that it has integrated its award-winning
IMAuditor
application with IBM Lotus Software's Sametime real-time collaboration software
and has joined the IBM PartnerWorld Program. This integrated IM solution
enables enterprise customers who use Sametime's Business Instant Messaging to
leverage the strength of IMAuditor to centrally manage, capture, store and
supervise internal and external IM communications on the Sametime network for
regulatory compliance. Lotus Sametime is in use at 50 Global Fortune 100
companies and has approximately 5 million worldwide corporate users that can
securely communicate while ensuring corporate compliance, auditing, and
administrative controls are now in place.

The IMAuditor Gateway for Lotus Sametime is available from FaceTime as an
add-on option to FaceTime's standard
IMAuditor application and will be
available April 30th.

The FaceTime IMAuditor enables IT departments to install a back-end software

IM message content for words or phrases restricted by employee roles.

IM Access Control - the ability to allow or
disallow certain employees to use IM, and to enforce the use of only business
professional IM screen names.

IM Identity Management - the ability to map IM
screen names with corporate employee Ids.

IM Export - the ability to export complete IM
conversations as e-mails to any corporate e-mail system, e-mail compliance
systems, or storage systems.
The FaceTime IMAuditor Gateway for Lotus Sametime includes an easy
installation and configuration process, no change in behavior for users of
instant messaging clients, Web-based reports, and support for existing
corporate proxy servers.
