Marketing Manager

Job Requirements / Description

The Marketing Manager is a high impact member of the marketing team who defines and implements FaceTime's North American marketing and lead generation campaigns, including channel and partner marketing strategy. This position is responsible for planning and executing field marketing programs, motivating the channel to engage with FaceTime direct sales reps to sell FaceTime products, and creating programs that build pipeline for sales. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will work closely with marketing and sales management to plan and execute marketing activities with strategic partners including Microsoft, IBM, and more. The Marketing Manager position reports into the Director of Marketing Programs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute on marketing programs, including events and activities such as seminars, trade shows, webinars, and more
  • Drive activities required for regional sales managers to achieve success and meet quotas
  • Leverage market intelligence and all centralized corporate and global marketing resources to tailor and deliver channel marketing plans and partner programs in support of sales goals.
  • Meet with key channel partners and understand their important issues and needs – translate these needs to actionable programs in the field
  • Own and increase communication with partners to better position FaceTime and keep them informed of FaceTime news, selling strategies and tools
  • Manage and execute partner training
  • Create channel programs including sales and marketing tools and incentive programs
  • Ensure that marketing campaigns are produced from start to finish, including measurement of results and ROI
  • Collaborate with regional sales managers to drive partner marketing activities and increase opportunities

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated team player with a passion for network security, continuous improvement, and delivering business value
  • BA/BS degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-7 years experience in a marketing programs role, experience with channel and partner marketing a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong project and people management skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Organized self starter with strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, use of Salesforce.com a plus
  • Travel 35% of the time
